Lance Thompson is the Senior Vice President of Channel Sales at Acrisure Cyber Services, bringing over 40 years of entrepreneurial experience to the IT industry. A versatile professional with a proven track record, Thompson’s career spans a wide range of business ventures, from IT hardware and software to secure data storage and cybersecurity solutions.
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Michigan State University in the 1970s, Thompson began his career as a sales representative at IBM, where he honed his skills in technology sales and customer relations. In the early 1980s, he left IBM to pursue his entrepreneurial ambitions, founding and growing several successful companies, that provided innovative IT and security solutions to clients nationwide.
In 2020, Thompson’s company was acquired by Acrisure, leading to the formation of Acrisure Cyber Services. As a key member of the ACS management team, Thompson plays a pivotal role in developing and leading a high-performing team that delivers “best-in-class” IT security solutions to organizations across various industries.
